My name is Cookie and I am a young girl, but very ill. Mom says I am one of her hospice babies. I was saved from a high kill shelter for another rescue. But when my mom got me she found out I was very sick and had to stay with her. I had lots of tests and a really big surgery when the doctors realized I have a failing liver and it can’t be fixed. I also have heartworms because no one gave me monthly preventative. I take lots of medicines everyday and so far am feeling pretty good. I love to dig holes just for the joy of it. I love all my toys. And I can run really fast. I may not have a long life but I am enjoying every minute of it. It’s so beautiful to be loved and wanted. Would you like to help sponsor my medical care?
Update: Cookie had her biannual acid bile testing. We are awaiting results. She looks good and is still very active. Praying for good results.
Update, May 2018: Cookie is amazing! She is still very active and showing no outward signs of her grave disease. She loves to dig and causes mayhem in my yard.
