Bellaluna
Hi everyone. I am Bellaluna and I’m a real old Southern lady who has been very lucky. I know that my human really loved me but something happened that I ended up in a kill shelter…but not for long. A nice lady saw me when I was brought to the shelter and begged for my life.
Now I live at the sanctuary but I am not sure if I need a family or if I am going to stay here. You see, besides being an older girl, I am also getting vision impaired and seem to have skin problems without medicine. I would be happy to stay here. In fact, I dance for mom and when she picks me up I hug her neck with both arms. I want her to know I love her. I even managed to call “Momma” when I am brought to an adoption event. Now I ask, how could she let me leave? But she says I deserve a wonderful family of mine own and if the perfect one comes looking for me she knows I would be very happy. Are you a perfect family for me?
Update: How we love this girl! She is so sweet, loving and affectionate. Bella continues with her allergy meds and has recently been started on eye medication.
Update: Bella had cataract surgery and did very well. She has since been adopted and is the princess of her folks universe!

is bellahuna still looking for her forever home. I am a dog lover. I have three rescues right now, I am 59 years old live alone, don’t work outside home. I don’t want a puppy, I am interested in helping older pets that are in bella situation. my oldest fur babies is going blind and is 15 years old.
