A shelter director asked us to take in this very elder boy because he was so sweet but really ill. He had multiple medical problems, the worse being a very bad back. In the course of treating him, an associate vet fell in love with him and asked to adopt him and continue his care. We were so happy for him. Unfortunately he did not survive much longer but he knew love.
