Precious

Precious is a 17 year old cocker spaniel. She was seized from another rescue and taken to the shelter. She is now safe with the sanctuary and receiving treatment for her eyes and her severe arthritis. She is aptly named as she is truly a precious angel.

Update: Precious has been diagnosed with Cushing’s disease. She is now being treated with oral medication. She continues with her laser therapy and monthly injections for her arthritis. She is also continuing her eye meds.

Update: Precious had a real roller coaster ride with all her medical issues. After a serious episode of heart failure she finally had enough. She found a comfortable place to rest and passed in her sleep.
